Becoming a Vendor

Vendors are the people who sell on the SMEAZ Online Shop. These are paid-up members of the Association that specifically have signed up for our Sales Storm/Affiliate Marketing program. So in other words, to become a vendor on the Online Shop you first have to register as a Standard, Small, Medium or Affiliate member of the Association. This is important as we would first have to assess your business to ensure that you are able to provide the requisite quality and standard of service. Membership of the Association comes with several benefits as highlighted on the pages above, and being a vendor is but one of them.

Once signed on as a paid-up member, you can then opt to register as a vendor on the Online Shop. The Online Shop is a platform where you can sell your products and offer a commission for every product/service sold via the platform. Commission rates start at 5%, and they can go to as high as you wish. Currently the system is set to a maximum of 30%, but you can request to go higher. Typically, vendors selling physical products offer lower commissions, while those selling services tend to be able to offer more commissions.

There is a setup fee of US$50 (over and above the membership fee) to become a vendor. For now, this setup fee does not need to be paid upfront, it can be paid on a staggered basis as we sell your products/services. Terms will need to be agreed on a per-member basis with our Administration department.

You can sign on as a vendor by clicking here and completing the form. Note that you will need to be a paid-up member, otherwise your application will be rejected. If all is in order, we will then accept your registration, and you can proceed to complete your details on your new Online Store. You can also upload your products and services, which will be subject to an approval process to ensure that they have been uploaded properly.
